The Debt Slider
The Debt Slider is designed to provide an illustration of the relationship between any given debt level and the typical minimum monthly payments creditors would require in order to consider an IVA as a viable debt solution.
In practice, an IVA's payments are always based on what is deemed affordable for the applicant, when their personal circumstances have been assessed.
The Debt Slider should be used only for illustration purposes only as it does not show the guaranteed payment level of any given debt.
Furthermore, the Debt Slider does not take into account any aspect of the introduction of equity as required under the homeowner's equity clause, or the extra payments that may ensue if the IVA is extended for any reason.
We strongly recommend that you call our helpline on 0800 856 8569 so one of our experienced IVA advisors can discuss how an IVA will be tailored to suit your individual circumstances before you contact an Insolvency Practitioner.
IVAorg CIC accept no liability for any reliance placed on the results provided by the Debt Slider or the contents of the Debt Slider or the IVA.org website. Should you choose to rely on the information provided without seeking further advice from us, this is done so entirely at your own risk.
The Debt Report
All Debt Reports are designed to provide general advice with particular reference and regard to the details entered into the application form.
If you are researching the prospects of entering into an arrangement with your creditors, be it an IVA, bankruptcy, a Debt Management Plan, a Debt Relief Order or if you are simply considering refinancing, it is crucial that you discuss your circumstances with us, as this may affect the advice we provide.

Complaints Procedure
The team at IVAorg CIC are committed to providing a high quality and friendly service. However, on occasion we may fall short of the high standards we set for ourselves and have, therefore, put in place the following complaints procedure
IVAorg fees
IVAorg CIC is a 'Not for Profit' organisation, a company limited by guarantee, which is run for public benefit rather than shareholder returns. We do not charge any direct fees for the advice and support we provide to our clients and there is no obligation to use our services once you have received advice or support from us.
We are funded through payments received from external Insolvency Practitioners for the intermediary debt resolution work we complete on their behalf. They pay us from the fees they receive for their services which, in most circumstances, are paid by creditors.
IVA fees
The Insolvency Practitioner's fees are payable from IVA contributions that you make and will be detailed in the IVA proposal. These fees may be calculated as a percentage of contributions paid by you, or as a fixed fee or on a time cost basis. It will be for the creditors to decide the basis and amount of such fees.
No fee is paid in addition to the contributions you make and, in effect, creditors take the burden of the fees as they come from the contributions you make towards your debts.
Protected Trust Deed (PTD) fees
The Insolvency Practitioner's fees are payable from PTD contributions that you make and will be detailed in the PTD proposal. These fees may be calculated as a percentage of contributions paid by you, or as a fixed fee or on a time/cost basis. It will be for the creditors to decide the basis and amount of such fees.
No fee is paid in addition to the contributions you make and, in effect, creditors take the burden of the fees as they come from the contributions you make towards your debts.
